Patients with undiagnosed genetic diseases often face an uncertain and unpredictable journey, called the diagnostic odyssey. The diagnostic odyssey lasts on average eight years [1], but in places where access to genetic testing is limited, it may take many more years or never reach a diagnosis at all.
